Personal Touch

Sandy Ridge Construction  Ltd. brings you the personal touch needed in designing, constructing and finishing the home of your dreams.Owned and operated by David and Pamela Micku, Sandy Ridge Construction is a true family business. Dave has been building houses for 40 years, while Pam has 35 years of experience in design and interior decorating.

Our children are an essential part of the business. Justin handles the finishing and cabinet installations. Ashley assists in the office with design and bookkeeping. Brandon, our youngest is an equipment operator, ICF installer, framer and concrete finisher.  In addition, we employ a well qualified staff and the best trades in the Shuswap region.

Sandy Ridge Construction builds homes from 1,200 square feet to the executive level, that are designed to satisfy the needs of first time homeowners, those upgrading and the empty nest down-sizer.

Our mission is to provide excellence in the design, construction, finishing, decorating and after sales service to all of our home buyers.

Technical Innovation

We keep up with the latest technology in order to provide our customers with the very best the industry has to offer. The way of the future for energy efficient homes is Insulated Concrete Styrofoam Block Foundation Forms.

The Styrofoam Block Foundation Form system gives your home an R-50+ Value, instead of the standard R-12 and R-24 of wood walls. This results is a much warmer home in the winter, a cooler home in the summer and reduced heating costs. The system is particularly valuable in homes with finished and walk-out basements.

We work hard at being informed of the newest trends in cabinetry, flooring, mechanicals, roofing and finishes to be able to offer our customers the very best in quality and style.

The result is a comfortable, efficient home that will serve you well now, and for years to come.

Community Involvement

Sandy Ridge Construction has been a prominent supporter of the local building community in the Shuswap.

David volunteered his time as project manager for the construction of a 2,700 square foot home built by eighteen of these first year carpenters in Little Mountain Estates, Salmon Arm, BC.

Over the years, we have sponsored several young carpenters in their apprenticeships to become Journeymen.

Sandy Ridge Construction firmly believes in the future growth and excellence of the Shuswap building community.
